An expatriate family navigating separation in Thailand
A foreign national living in Chiang Mai and their Thai spouse had reached a mutual decision to separate. Neither was familiar with the formal steps required under Thai law, and both were concerned about the process affecting their children's arrangements.
We began with a guidance session for both parties separately, then moved to agreement support. All correspondence was managed to keep the tone constructive. Documents were prepared in Thai with full English summaries for the foreign national.
A complete formal agreement was reached within seven weeks. The arrangement included mutually agreed child contact terms and property division — without court proceedings. Both parties received a clear written record of all agreed terms.

A contested custody matter requiring full representation
A parent in Chiang Mai had been unable to reach agreement with the other party regarding their children's living arrangements following a separation. Informal discussions had broken down and a formal legal process was necessary.
